I'm assuming and hoping that the owner of this site wants quality members over quantity. If so, you NEED to restrict new registration to a mandatory 7 days before activation like some of the other forums out there (not just gambling forums). This in itself will cut down drastically on possible ghosting and people who register just to post a few things about random bullsh.it/bashing.

Also, if your current servers can't handle the amount of traffic then like one of the posters mentioned cut down on the number of guests. Seriously this shouldn't be such a difficult problem to fix. Just my 2 pesos
